Brew looks very dapper in his new coats.
Thanks!!! It’s one actually, just reversible.Brew looks very dapper in his new coats.
Thanks!!!! And I’m lucky he loves clothes lol a friend’s dog also hates them and rips them off and possibly to shreds unfortunately.Silly question, I suppose, but have you gone to the doctor, Lisa?
Then again, it may or may not help. Last winter I had crap -- including violent coughing -- for 8 weeks. All they could tell me was what I didn't have, and I ended up not taking the medicine because I didn't want the potential side effects.
@ShrekDawg, Brew looks very dapper. My smaller rescue dog came from Oklahoma and had a coat her first year. She hated it and decided she would rather shiver than wear it. So, I let her!
Ginger snaps aren't a bad choice for dunking, Jim. But my favorite dunker is a Spekulatius, a German spiced cookie that Aldi only sells around Christmas. There are four boxes in my cabinet right now.
Hope all the appointments are and will be going well.
My sister came up yesterday so I will be taking advantage of her presence to get some "heavy lifting" done. She got to see a little show last night.
I was out closing coops and heard the loudest, longest hissing I've ever heard Golly emit. I looked over, and she had her wings and neck fully extended and was continuing to hiss furiously. (Gussie stood behind her sister, quietly and very much being Gussie).
When I got around the corner, I spotted the issue -- a chunky opossum was happily cleaning the remaining feed out of the geese's dish, ignoring them and me.
I knocked on the living room window and got Carolyn to bring me gloves. Dad taught us both that a possum held by the tail can't whip around to bite. We were prepared to relocate the intruder when it decided to make a run for a hole in the fence. Okay, not much of a run because its bulging tummy slowed it down. But, it escaped and I had to reassure Gussie and Golly that their house was now safe.
The unwanted guest, who hightailed it into a hollowed tree, returned a bit later, and I let the crazier house dog outdoors to give chase. Today, I will dig out the live trap and see if I can persuade the critter to move on.
