I'm thinking mole but It's weird it's have a tail like that.Seems winter has arrived for a few days. I was reminded why I need to downsize my critter keeping. Brrr.
Anyone recognize this critter? Dogs found it a few days ago. Should have taken pictures than. Had to dig it out of the dog poop bucket because I keep wondering what it is. Has a long rat tail, star nose and digging flipper feet. Was a decent size too. I've seen both moles and voles, and shrews, but never nothing this large with that tail.
