Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

today I used up the rest of the bean seeds and filled where beans didn't come up.
then I tied up the tomatoes and trimmed the lowest branches off/,.
Annie had to go to town,. so she is going to buy a new spark plug for the tiller/.
I did a little of real light watering today, mostly to water in the new bean seeds.

well , i did not have to water in the seeds after all
it rained real good in the afternoon,.
i thing the only way i will get the corn planted is if i just throw it like grass seed and hope it takes hold, .
the crows would like that.

I worked on the tiller today. I got it to fire up when I dumped gas into the spark plug hole. then I got pulled away to go out for Chinese with DD Brenda for father's day,.
afterwards I had enough daylight left to get the carburetor off,. it is dirty but some of the ports are open. a little squirt of carb cleaner and air and I think I will be in business.
I can't complain about the raised beds. a couple more nice day s like today and there should be a lot of growth going on.
Annie found a red squirrel tail upstairs in the garage. as a result the cat got a bag of cat food and a bag of kitty litter. good kitty,,.

Got almost an inch of rain last night when the storms rolled through. Knocked down some of my leaf lettuce which it too close together so I have to pull a bunch. The geese were happy.

I picked up a little something last Friday during our shopping trip. The check out at Aldi was coughing. Now I'm sick. Hope to fight it off before next Monday so I can still go to therapy.

Jim you have a cat that kills and eats a squirrel? That's one mean cat.

yep, the cat eats red squirrels. he is not tame at all. we can't get within 30 yards from him. but as long as he goes after the squirrels, we love him.
today i have to fine my can of b12 carb cleaner.
i would like to work on it outside, I hope the rain holds off,.
