We've got chiggers here. You would never even think about sitting in the grass in summer. Or wearing sandals. You wear tall rubber boots sprayed w insect repellent. And there are now armadillos this far north......

Lol, I remember it well! All part of life in FL (and I kind of miss it, love bugs and all)!

And we almost forgot fire ants!

Nasty things & possums

sugar ants, carpenter ants, bull ants, black ants, fire ants

Hate them all we have them bad,carpentar ants

Lighting bugs,wasps,carpentar bees,bees,slugs,worms,lady bugs

I watched a series on discovery about people going out catching them. They were in people's gardens and hiding in bushes! I've never seen one and thankfully we don't get them here!

DH worked at several golf courses in FL. Gators were a definite problem with the water hazards

They were on the endangered species list many moons ago.. They are everywhere now.

Love bugs ... um, you can have mine they don't look like anything I want.
