Dried comfrey as feed

Has anyone experimented with drying comfrey to use as a feed during winter? It's super high in protein and nutrients, and chickens like it fresh.

I wouldn't replace your feed with it, but try adding some in and see how they do.

I think I need to raid the seeds from my comfrey plant and plant some around the outside of the run along with the hops that will be planted on the south and west side. I'll have to pull up the mesh to plant the hops next spring.

I wouldn't use it as their only feed, but I'm sure they would enjoy it!
