To anyone who followed the saga of the Whole Flock Going to Freezer Camp I have an update.

I got an egg. Actually I have two hens now laying. How did this happen you ask? Well I followed some of the suggestions on this thread, to no avail. So what I did was to go into the hen house, had one talk with them. Said one egg by tomorrow or one of you dies. Next day, no egg. So I took one of the lower ranked roos, put him against the wall of the coop. Covered his eyes with a very little blind fold and gave him a little cigarette. Then I took my Uzi and mowed him down. Feathers everywhere. It was amazing. Those two hens ran and jumped in a nest box and shot out two eggs. Ha. Problem solved.

Hope you all know that is a joke. The shooting part. I did get a couple of eggs.

I decided to put my processing station right next to the coop.......... it can serve as a reminder. Maybe I should hang a sign on it that says : "eggs...... or else!" LOL
