Dry, but others still pipping and zipping

I have quail which hatched in the morning, and read that they should not be in there more then 24 hours, but if I open the incubators the others will die or dry up! what should I do?!

Go ahead and quickly open your incubator and remove the quail chick. The remaining eggs will be fine.

I pretty much always open the incubator to pull the chicks out once they are fluffy . I just open it real quick and shut it quickly. I've never had a shrink wrapped chick from that. Grab the ones you need quickly and close er up!
