been running dry temp at 99.5 & held humidity at 45% the first 15 days, then down to 40%. well its day 18 took them out of auto turners & closed vent holes & humidity went up to 50% (im running completely dry)
why I’m asking is most of my air cells are not where they’re suppose & some are, I was told it was the breed & they have porus eggs, the lady I bought eggs from said up humidity 12% & it did it on its own without adding water
these are ultra rare super blues & i do not want to drown my chicks inside the egg
So do I leave humidity at 50 or raise it a bit?

I'd shoot for 60 at least
I do 40% until lockdown then 65 at lock down and have good hatches
Also make sure you don't close all vent holes so chicks can get air when they hatch.
I'm sure you already know that tho
Goodluck

I have two vent holes open on the bottom, my incubator doesn’t have a name... clear sides, yellow top, air forced fan great incubator!

but my dilemma is air cells in some are not exactly where they should be, some are perfect
do I up humidity or leave it be at 50 :hmm

So you do not have a calibrated separately bought humidity gauge on it?
You can't trust the factory installed instruments. Your humidity levels could possibly have been too high the entire time but the only way to know is a calibrated gauge.

Already day 18, not much you can do about the air cells now. I'd still raise the humidity now for hatching. You may consider hatching them upright in cartons. I've never done it, but if the air cells are too small, this seems to help some folks.

How full do the eggs look when candled? Dark all the way up to the air cell, or lots of clear-ish area?
