Dry Incubation?

Quote:
Hi Danny they pip on day 20 / 21 I think that has been because the temp has run a bit high on average in the last 1/2 of the setting, but this time I have given them a little more air flow and have been able to keep the temp at a more normal range without high peeks in temp.
What humidity do you run at?
I have been thinking when I put the bantam eggs back in to go a little higher with humidity.
Anyhow we will see what results I get with it this time. I have only been setting big eggs to sort things out.
My Dauther has been playing around with another bator I purchased on ebay and has had some very good results by just putting a little water in and then running dry and just giving the eggs a lite spray of water when she opens the unit, she just hatched 10 out of 11 eggs the 11 egg the chick died at pipping.
I will be using this Bator as a hatcher when I get it back.
