Dry weather need plants that will grow

Well my problem is that it's been dry and humid and I need a crop that's tolerant of little water and still produce a crop and in poor clay soil I haven't seen rain but 2days these year

You might try posting on the forum in this link. It's a sister site to BYC and run by the same people, but the format is a little different. Some of the people over there are from California or other dry places..
