    Wow, that's really something. Yes, calcium. Reminds me of the time my husband drained the duckpond and pulled out an oops egg one of our young ducks had laid while swimming. It was swollen up to base ball size because the shell was so thin. We keep oyster shell in a dish at all times now near first lay for young hens of both species.

    Wow - impressive. That's one I haven't seen before, and I have seen quite a few ugly eggs. Awesome.
