What is considered a target weight/time frame for processing a Dual-Purpose Breed?
What can I expect to get at say 16 weeks vs. 20 weeks?
Also, what feed would you all recommend?
I ask because I will be doing some hatching and will probably have some Roos to process.
Thanks.

Target weight is whatever size you are looking for in a processed bird. Most people report anything from 3 1/2 pounds to over 5 pounds. The time it takes to get there depends on the breed, what/how much you feed them. As far as feed, some will feed them the same thing they would feed the females, other will seperate the males at some point and feed them a higher protein feed. If you do some browsing thru this section, you will find many specific examples for all the different breeds out there.

No. I am going to be hatching a number of eggs and breeds and whatever I cannot re-home I will grow out and process.
