okay you lost me... But COOL, haha! Did you say something about black laced... i wants some!!!

Yes, the black 'laced' is a work in progress as well. I have a few pullets showing a nice dark mahogany lacing in hackles as well as in the breast area, but they aren't even close to perfect yet. I'd be happy to share eggs with anyone interested once girls start laying and I hatch the first 50 chicks. Consistancy, quality and CONSISTANCY are very important to me

After that I'll be offering eggs to those interested.

ETA: corrections

I might be interested, i will have to see what they look like first! and Ohmygod i love your original roo! Will you be selling MF eggs in the spring?

Celtic, I forgot about these pics I took of just the breast lacing...Maybe this will give you an idea of what they are looking like and the color I wish to keep instead of lemon.

LOL, I just PM'd you! BTW, I'm sure by the time it's all said and done I'll be banned from the D'uccle threads due to my flock of 'missfit feathers'...

Not many people like change and I've dumped a ton of color on you guys-n-gals the past few weeks. I'm sure most of you are going

LMBO .....I'm usually a purest when it comes to breeding anything but I'm totally amazed at the marking of your WC.

There are several good breeders on this thread that are experimenting with the different colors also. I find the genetics on these birds fascinating but confusing. That's one of the reasons we need threads like this one, so I don't think you'll be banned.
I just got my Milles this year and still learning. Like most people on here I'm just wanting to improve my birds and I'm impressed with the quality of your birds regardless of their color...so I hope you'll stick around.
