D'Uccle eggs hatching. On pins and needles

@GldnValleyHens update? Pictures? How is everything?
Sorry for the delay! I've been busy with my birds and other animals, and work! Just home now, to find the next egg pipping, seems to be malpositioned. I slept in the basement last night, got up every once in awhile to check on the first guy. He almost died, due to my own stupid self. I had the heat lamp way too close, I underestimated the power of that bulb. My thermometer read 129 degrees! He was huddled under a paper towel, panting. I panicked, and cursed myself, feeling utterly horrible. It was like that for only 5-8 minutes, so glad I caught it. He is running around now, fluffy and happy in the brooder. I have water for him, with pebbles, and a bit of crushed oatmeal to nibble on, though he isn't interested in food yet.

Little Chloe or Chip. Looks just like his Mille Fluer mom, Edna Mae did. The father is a Porcelain.

There are veins as you can see, and it is still absorbing the yolk, because it is yawning. See that spot of red? I don’t remember if that was there when I wetted it, but when I was gently rubbing in that area the chick made a squeal. @Pyxis, help me! Will it bleed to death?!!!!!!!!!!
I have assisted in many hatches and am always surprised at how resilient these little d’uccles are! They can lose a lot of blood and still be fine.

So the other egg hatched, but is much weaker than Chip. Her legs are messed up, she can't really walk because her hocks are up past her wings! Sort of like @Redhead Rae's Gimpy chick, not as severe. I have her in a sling, thanks @Redhead Rae for the great pictures and ideas! Feet are booted in the same way, and she is positioned the same. My question is, how long does she have to be in the sling? I am given her dips of water, she doesn't want feed yet, she's only a day old at the most. Her legs should fix pretty quickly right? So overnight?

You're welcome!

I say the below with a caveat, I've only done this sort of thing to two chicks. One with a minor deformity that righted quickly and one with more difficult deformities that had to be culled.

They either get fixed quickly, or they don't. I would give the chick 24 hrs in the sling and see what happens. If there is any improvement, assess if it needs to go back in the sling or if it needs less invasive treatment or no treatment. If there is no change, I would lean towards culling, because if there is no improvement, there isn't likely to be much, if any more improvement. If the chick pulls itself out of the contraption, I would remove and check before resetting the chick.

Pictures please!

I took it out of the sling about an hour ago because it was really struggling, and there seems to be a little improvement. She still can't stand up though, and is sitting on her hocks, which isn't normal, right? I will load pictures tomorrow. Should I put her back in the sling or stop torturing her?
