D'uccle Info Needed

I am thinking of getting some D'Uccles, and I need info on them. Can I raise them the same as quail? PLEASE POST PICS OF YOURS!!

quail are quail chickens are chickens. if you go up to breeds in blue above the ads on the right. and search d uccle you can find all the info about them

excellent broody, cool to look at, pretty hardy (cold and hot) not overly aggressive, can have issues with their leg feathers and getting plucked and then bleed.

I love mine, wouldnt be without them but not for their egg output, maybe 100 per year because she is constantly broody.

what else do you need to know?

I love these birds, and they are great with kids. Very docile birds.

Here's our little mille fleur guy...he's treated like any of our large fowl...no special treatment. IMO you do need to keep a closer eye on their feet, simply because any problems are harder to detect on feather footed breeds.
