My d'uccle is sleeping all day long. I have her separate from the flock; she's eating, drinking, and pooping. She has a little drainage from her eyes as well. Any suggestions? This is day 9 so far.

Eye drainage could be a sign of a respiratory infection. Is she struggling to breathe? (opening beak over and over). That is something to watch for.
Keeping her quiet is a good idea. Is is hard to know what to do. Some people would say try some antibiotic. Others say not to. Did you start the bird yourself?

I hope more experienced people can help you.

We gave her some antibiotic...not sure what it was since it was a friend that was treating the hen. It's very strange that she continues to eat and drink; everything seems to be working properly; however, she just sleeps all day long. Hopefully more people will respond to the post with this same kind of experience.

Birds are very good at hiding illness, and usually by the time you are seing changes in thier habits the illness is quite progressed. Sleeping alot is usually a sign if illness, like you suspected, so if you can you should try to investigate some further treatment options. When I see nose or eye drainage I put a little Tetracycline in the thier water. Usually clears up in days. i havehad to do this twice since having the chickens.
