Your guesses sound spot on to me.Can anyone help me with my d'Uccle rainbow? I believe I know what most are but there's one I'm not sure about...here it goes
Unmarked egg but supposedly came from either a golden neck or milliefleur pen...looks like a blue milliefleur to me though?
Golden neck?
Porcelain (I hope! My fave color)
& of course a milliefleur, the prettiest chick I've hatched so far, most didn't have as much patterning yet

I have an OEGB hen who goes broody every year but doesn't get that she has to sit on the eggs to hatch chicks.I love the bottom mille chick! It is gorgeous. I took Dottie off of the roost to look her over again and feel her crop. The little snippett tried to bite me! She's never done that before. She jumped back up on the roost and is acting like a strutting turkey. This is double her size! If she is broodywith no eggs laid in over a week how in the world does she expect to set eggs ON THE ROOST?!? She eats, drinks and poops fine. No signs of anything else other than this.
Doesn't look like a d'Uccle to me. It looks a lot like a columbian Cochin.
Try baiting the nest. Put eggs, or golf balls into the nest and make a large clutch. Probably around 5 eggs. Then keep her in the coop so she can see it. Hopefully she'll set.How did you get your oegb to set eggs? ( If you did) Dottie showed no interest in the eggs, just in dust bathing when I made her get off the roost this afternoon. I was leaning towards selling the MFBD until Dottie did this today. Won't sell them til I figure out what is going on.
I have porcelain. I'm about 30 minuets away from Murphy NC.
