I cant usualy tell by color at 3 weeks.... but about a month you can see t he roos get a bit bigger comb and stand a little more upright, and I have noticed have a little more black around their eyes.. and the hens have a bigger beard, and less comb and are a little more brown than black.Woo! Just found a great thread which included a sex comparison photo at three weeks and I'm bouncing up and down on the couch because according to that I have two pullets and won't have the heartbreak of either being a roo that I have to cull! Yaaaay!!!
but you really cant tell until one of them starts to get the pointed feathers, and you can check down under the ckick feathers, in the saddle and neck area for "pointy" feathers.... those are boys LOL
