D'uccle Thread

This is a good lesson for all of us .... keeping quiet does no one any good - and if this person truly was dupped by another ... and is honest - then they WANT to know what people have to say about the misinformation !

This sounds like it could turn out well and she could still sell her hatching eggs

i am not to sure about the honest part myself. Every listing she has says SUPER SHOW QUALITY except the ducks say nothing about any quality and the sebrights say Exhibition Quality.

I just fond this ad on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Millie-Fl...094?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c945ddfa6

They are advertised as ''super show quality'' their coloring is pretty good, but they have no beards whatsoever. The seller claims they have 50 years of breeding and selection in them too. Am I missing something?

I also just messaged the seller but wasn't very nice. I was was just very direct to state it was misleading and that its a blatant lie that they are D'uccles. They are obviously booted bantams. Anyways, moving on!

true enough - most people let me down and now I do usually expect the worse and hope for the best

My wee little flock is handing this winter weather well - Vermont - lots of cold and slush so far - snow has turned to slush which is worse for animals

I'm so late joining this thread, but I love seeing all your birds! I have two Mille Fleur chicks on order for spring this year and I'm very excited.
