Mine didn't register as anything other than "Shipper has regstered ths package, but it may not have actually shipped yet" right up until the time it said "package out for delivery."
Carolyn, my daughter thinks it's kinda funny, but is also getting bored and is ready for the social aspects o school. We have no kids her age in our neighborhood.
She was really ticked off that she had to help wash chicken feet tonight
Birds are spit-shined, boxed and ready to go. They'll get some water and light feed tomorrow. Right now they're covered with a blanket to help them stay warm and make them rest. None of mine are used to being washed, so even the ones who are 'old hands' at being shown were a little upset and freaked out.
I need input: The TX birds came to me with ugly feet. Not just the nails needing to be trimmed, but the scales on their toes aren't just rough, but some are exaggeratedly large. I thought it was scaly mites, and wiped them down with vaseline for weeks, but there was no change. They've also been dosed with Ivomectin (the drops kind. Ivermectin/Ivo?).
Anyway, could there be anything else that causes funky leg scales? They don't pick at them or act aggitated over them in any way, there are no other issues.... But nothing would make them sleek (if they were ever sleek to begin with?) the way my birds have sleek-ish feet
