What kind of temps do you all keep your D'uccles in the winter? Mine are house birds but because of wood heat the temps go from 50's to 80's. Right now they're in my son's electrically heated bedroom because it's pretty stable.

If i breed my porcelain pullets with my mille fleur cockeral what are the possible colors of resulting chicks? i have tried to do some research (hard to find) and think all chicks would be mille fleur?

I think someone on the Belgian D'uccle website posted a similar query and they said first gen would be mille fleur unless the rooster had a recessive gene, but that the next gen might have some porcelains. I had been looking for porcelain hens, and someone suggested I buy Mille fleur hens to breed with my porcelain males and then wait a generation to see some porcelain pop up. But I'm no expert, this is just what someone else has told me.
