There's no such thing as a show quality egg. Even show quality birds can throw pet quality. They only way to guarantee show quality is to purchase them as nearly adults. That's the only way to tell feather coloration, besides the other qualities. Most d'uccles don't have show color until sometimes as long as a year old.We are looking to get on a list for spring for some show quality Millie d'uccle eggs. We will not need them until returning from a trip at the beginning of April but would like to get on a list for some now if possible. Thanks![]()
You also take quite a chance trying to hatch mailed eggs. The post office is quite rough with packages and the yolks can get scrambled, etc.
