D'uccle Thread

I thought this one was a pullet at first but in fact was a cockerel. the indication to his gender can be found in his coloring though

This shows how attached I am to these little birds.

A family was here picking up some Phoenix chicks and the dad really wanted one of my Millie hens. He offered $10 at first but when I said I couldn't get rid of her he kept upping the price. I felt bad because he wanted her so bad and I know I have 3 others. But, I have raised these girls from day old chicks, kept them warm when the power went out last winter and I've almost had them for a year. They are very attached to one another also. They like my bantam RIR and the three porcelains but they keep to their own little group. I just couldn't take her away from the others and I couldn't part with two. In so attached to these little guys.
