My boy that ate the apple seeds is still with me. His comb never stood back up. I have him inside for the winter since i am unsure if his organs could handle the freeze. He is less active since so he id happy as a lark!

I'm so excited!!! I will be picking up 14 Porcelain D'uccle. They are 8-9 months old and the breeder is going out of bird business. From the pictures I was sent the look great. Keep your fingers crossed.

He is lucky he has you. I know it may sound overkill but you could have a blood panel done on him to look for abnormal liver/kidney function.

I don't have that kind of money or i would. Right now i am trying to decide on a wormer. Yesterday he pooped one. Sooooo gross. Normally i would do ivermectin... i normally don't do the mild one you put in the water cause it isn't always effective. But this was only a rou dworm?

That is so cute! Does he wake you crowing? Piperazine is the safe wormer and will kill roundworms. I bought Valbazen, it is expensive but it only takes 1/4 of a cc for a bantam and it kills all worms. I think it was 40.00 from jeffers livestock and is a 500ml bottle.
