My cockerel Mille Fleur took 1st place and pullets took 3 and 4.

It takes quite a bit to get new colors introduced and get approved. There has to be so many breeding them for x amount of years. We need more people to join the Belgian D'Uccle club and then some of us can start working on getting new colors. As far as it being easy to produce them..it isn't it takes many years to get it right and breeding to be trueQuovadis- I don't have an answer for that question butttt on that subject.... it gets complicated with so many color varieties. A lot of times you go to a show and there's only a couple of each color so there's not much competition for each... I feel like sometimes the original and old time colors are forgotten in the midst of introducing/creating new colors. I have been to 4-5 shows and honestly have yet to see a white or a black Duccle...don't get me wrong there are some awesome and beautiful new colors but to have them introduced is adding to the vast varieties and colors there already are....Very good question you brought up though!
