I think a blue mottled. Doesn't the Lavender gene dilute both reds and blacks?
You will get some crazy looking Roos that's all I knowIt's autosomal recessive, so you need two copies for it to be expressed. So, you would get splits unless the mottled bird was split for lavender already. I can't answer on the patterning, since I'm not sure if mottling is a different pattern from the pattern that makes MF, but I would guess for color you'd get blacks split to lavender...
I got my first D'uccle hen at the fair last year, and I fell head over heels in love with this wonderful breed! Today my babies arrived and they are a big assortment of colors. I would love some help figuring out what colors I got. Rosie my first hen is a golden neck I think. I'll post a pic of her and one of the babies.![]()
