he looks good! how old is he? have you bred him yet?

He is about three. I bred him the last 2 years, first to a gold neck hen and then to a black mottled and a porcelain. I got a gold neck chick last year from him, but this year none of the eggs were fertile The weather was so bad here this spring I think the eggs got too cold before I collected them, I was really bummed. Out of 2 separate breeding pens and 28 eggs I only got 7 chicks. But, the chicks are super cute!!

I always have my Mottled and Mille eggs for sale but I've never shipped internationally, I know its gonna take more time and more rigorous shipping to get over the border though. I hope someone gets back to you on that and can get you some eggs!

Such a pretty colorful bunch! Sometimes I just think of mixing all my D'uccles together like that and see what colors I can hatch out.

dsfrango, I plan on doing more color mixing with these new guys next spring, not that I have a Porcelain Roo, I have many new possibilities! My mille roos just seem the throw gold leakage on whatever color I breed them to, not too thrilling.....

have you seen what the offspring look like from the hen in the pic? I have a self blue roo but I wanted to keep the color or maybe improve on it...
