So today both my bantams decided to go broody. I didn't notice because I have one of my standard hens on 12 eggs who went broody Monday.
My question is , how many eggs can my Mille Fluer d'uccle sit on?
My other bantam is a frizzle cochin. I gave them both 5 eggs and they are both happy as clams! I do have fertile eggs stored for each hen. My mille stopped laying my cochin did lay today. However, I know she's been in the processes because she just got off eggs and did all the broody deeds.
I hear bantams can be nasty with each other's baby's . Is this true?
Also, what if they get nest confused will this be a problem ? Any answers would be great!!
I swear a fairy hen flew over my yard and dropped broody dust
3 Broodys at once and 10 eggs in incubator.. I better get all extra broody houses set up.
