He's 6 months, i'll post a pic, but both a judge and a breeder told me that he wouldn't do much for me.

Well he's ugly, im not going to get rid of him until i can replace him. But he doesn't have the type, and his color isn't good.

Have you considered (at all) going with a *Booted program?? They are also a neat passion of mine, and theres ALWAYS room for new breeders and genetics. Just a thought

I need new genetics to work with, so do several other people I know. They are few and far between guys

Would love to see anyone elses birds and/or Booted program pics. After all, they are D'uccle too

Lori, we put Midas in with my MF girls today. Somehow my MF hurt his leg, so he is in hospital. Needless to say, Midas is in heaven with his 4 new girls and is being the perfect gentleman after being alone for 2 weeks. He is dancing for them and protecting them already!

I Acutally have, and i think they look weird w/o the beards. I will post a picture with him once i find one or take one

I have a porcelain young pullet that has absolutely no beard whatsoever. She came from Ideal hatchery, and the other d'uccles that came with are all bearded and booted, wonder if she's just poor quality or if their breeders have booted bantams and bearded d'uccles both in their flocks?

but if millies are bred to lemon milles, the offspring will all be millies split to lemon.
Back breed those, and you'll get 1/3 millies 1/3 millies split to lemon and 1/3 lemon millies.

I was trying to figure out which roo I could put lemon girls with, fingers crossed that I get some at some point. You both said the GN was a bad idea because of the white and that is fine, I understand that. So, it would be OK to put them with a MF roo?

And, I put my GN in with my MF girls because my MF roo hurt his leg. With this combo I should get 50/50 GN and MF, correct?
