My hen hatched out these...yep, 2 peachicks. I was happy to post them but on the sad news of Ronnie Tallant passing, not in such a happy mood anymore

He was well thought of in the poultry exhibition community. I saw him, but didn't get the chance to meet him at the Newnan Ga. show. If I could just turn back time....

It is my hope that his Son will continue to exhibit his Father's hard work.

I was wondering if someone could confirm if my babies are mille fleurs?
They do not have as many specks as the ones I have seen posted on this thread, but they're only 8 weeks old, will they gain more speckles?

This is Waffles, he just started crowing this week.. I love this guy, he sounds like someone strangling a rusty door hinge

Thanks I agree! I have started just waiting to catch my baby roo crowing, and my daughter goes into fits of laughter watching him crow. He is just too adorable. He thinks he is tough and gets pretty annoyed when we stand at the window and laugh at him while he tries to be a big boy.

Oh and thanks so much for the confirmation. I had thought they were Mille Fleurs from the time I got them home and realised they had feathered feeties. WHen I was picking them out they were just all over and I stagged the most lively cutest ones I saw, I didnt even know I sbagged fancy feeties till I got them home and was snuggling them (shhh they say you shouldnt snuggle your chicks and ducks but we do anyway)

Mine have been starting to show their patterns around 3 months, but don't really have their full patterns in till about 6 to 8 months. So my chicks have no spangling or anything yet at 2 months old. Most have a buff or greyish buff/white look to start. Then when they are older they end up having more white with each molt.

I have another 15 chicks! They hatched from 2 different breeders yesterday and I have MF as well as Porcelain. I had only one Gold Neck to hatch but I only have one Butterscotch, too so they may be cage friends when older.

So far all are so cute it is hard to not kiss them! I can't wait to see their antics and watch them grow up.

Thank you all on this list for the many important facts I have learned about these lovely little birds!
