Adorable!
Here are pictures of a d'Uccle chick that I hatched out. Its parents are a white roo and a black hen(I have two black hens so either one are its parents). I have 16 more of their eggs in the incubator and 9 under two broody hens, I can't wait to see what colors hatch out(all of the eggs are developing by the way). This one's feathers are coming in very beautifully. I'm hoping for a girl.

I'll post more pictures once she/he gets more feathers in. The d'Uccle eggs I have in my incubator(eggs from the same trio) go into lock down in a week, hopefully I'll have a variety of colors.I accidentally cracked one of the eggs but I put clear coat of nail polish over the dent in it and its developing fine.feathers look light in color like a gray (blue) i would love to see how they turn out. i've been looking for black d'uccle for a project i have in mind
Thanks! I have no idea what it will turn out to look like but I'm excited to see what it will look like as it grows up.Moonchild and Lady Chickadee those chicks are awesome! Moonchild, are those blue mille fleurs? I have one that same color and after looking online, that's the closest color I could come up with. Lady Chickadee, what do you think yours will be? That looks like a special little chick!
Hello everyone, I can't remember if I posted in here telling you guys that I changed my username. I was thebutress (that was actually my husbands account). So I made my own since he was getting all my emails. Anyways, I took some more pics of my little flock. He is 3.5 weeks today. I know everyone thought he was a roo last time. I actually think I see some pink at the base of his little comb now. I was hoping it was imagination, but...I think it really is there...
