This is my White D'uccle. I am planning on taking her to the fair next year and was wondering what everybody thought of her? How well do you think she would do?

Idk about show stuff, but she's a cutie! Mine hold their feet up sometimes when i'm looking at them, too. I wonder why?

That chick looks my little Marans/d'Uccle mix. Are they from your eggs or did you buy them? Here a pic of mine, mine was not intended. All of mine had the copper hackles and on the neck and a little on the chest and the white beard. Does it have white tips on its wings? Reesepoultry has a pair of mine also.
Here is a pic of mine a little older they hatch on 6/4, they are about 12 weeks old.

They are now nineteen weeks old. I sold a lot of these at the auction a couple last month.

anyone have double splash duccles ? i think i just lost one of mine to a hawk tonight

very ****** off the one day i let them out there pen for some free time i lose one havent had much luck with them brooding themselves so im gonna do a big hatch soon hope to get some good blue and black mottleds and maybe if im lucky another spalsh....

I don't think there is double splash variety, I looked on http://www.belgianduccle.org/page8.html and didn't see it.

I could be wrong.

Awfully cute chickies! They do look a lot like mine and its sibling. The farmer I got them from only had d'uccle and jaerhons. Ad his black mottled girl was very prolific layer and hatcher. Have your laid eggs yet from that strain? Dark eggs or light? Just curious

They haven't laid yet. I am curious too. I have a porcelain girl that runs around with the Olive Egger cockerel, I think she is smitten with big boys. I put some of her eggs in the incubator, I can't wait to see what I get from her. I plan on putting the porcelain in with the other 2 in a pen and see what I get from their eggs. Could be interesting.

Maybe you should try to get that color recognized. It's very beautiful, and I know Modern Games have a color like that.
