Got and answered the PM. His mottling isn't perfect, but he's young still. It will be interesting to see what his chicks look like!

I've watched a couple videos, just haven't actually dried vent sexing yet. Definitely on my bucket list though!
 
Where did you learn to vent sex? I have always wanted to learn how to vent sex. I figure with a little practice, it couldn't be too hard, right  :confused:  I mean I can sex young rabbits, so, chicks can't be too much harder... honestly i learned from books and wikipedia its not as easy as it sees ducks are pretty easy though i dont vent sex many chicks i dont want to risk killing them that is one of the risk and a ridk i dont want to take i sexed a mix breed and a buff silkie as my first chicks to violate the mix looked like a male wich he is and the silkie looked like a hen still waiting with it looks like a female so far
 
I just wanted to ask you what you all think, Standard wise, of a couple of my birds?

Mille fleur pullet, 2 months. In my opinion, she has great color.















Mille fleur cockerel, 2 months. He has no white on him (except one completely white hidden feather), but he's still young.

Mille fleur pullet #2, 2 months old. Has alot of white on back feathers now.
