I was petting one of my D'uccles when I noticed that she has a bruise under her right eye. It also looks like there might be a little bit of a cut there. I'm assuming she hit her eye on something, as she and her flock mates never fight or peck each other. Normally I would worry, but since it's so close to the eye, is there anything I should do for her, or should I just leave it alone?

(Sorry for the bad photo. She wouldn't stop moving. The bruise is actually a little darker in person.)

Impossible.
If your birds never bicker amongst themselves, it would be a first.
I know, I think it's weird too. But I have never once seen them fight over anything. Not even food.

She'll be fine.
Okay, good. I was just worried because of how close it is to the eye.

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It's impossible to be with them 24/7. And the physical proof that they do indeed have a pecking order is on her face.
