it's hard to have dogs put down. It's even harder to lose them without expecting it. Our chihuahua got hit by a car in December of 2011. That was the worst way possible to lose a pet

My little sister used to ride Iris around the house. My sister was only 2 years old at the time.

Poor Chihuahua. When my grandma was a kid she said that they had just bought a puppy and they were outside playing with their new puppy, then the neighbors kids came along... The kids clearly did not like the puppy or something. But the kids threw the puppy on the road and watched a car come by... the car ran over the helpless puppy. The person came out of his car and was ready to hit the kids with a belt for doing that. And my grandma wanted to throw the kids on the road and wait until a car came by! And actually tried doing that! She said that those kids were little punks for doing that! I wouldn't blame her!
