Good morning...........I can keep exactly 30 chickens.............and 1 rooster.........I'm going to keep my Golden Laced Wyandotte. My little buddy Elvis,well I can keep him. He goes in his separate enclosure with a couple of banty girls.

Exactly 50. We can't afford to feed them all. We will be butchering the heaviest breeds that are at their prime (like SOME of the JGs and most of the Orps) which after they are butchered our flock will be 42 birds. Then we will give some to the nearby farm who will take good care of them.
