I have 10 ISA Browns and 10 Lohmanns ( both are egg laying machines!!) And i hope to get some Barred Rocks and Rhode island Reds!! And i hope to breed Blue Cochins!!

I'll bet Barred Rocks are a good choice. My mom wants them a lot.

I have 8 rir's and they are awesome. I guess yours is mean because that's her personality. I have a few chickens like that.

Well... My mom said that I'm not allowed to ever get any more chickens (until I have my own house some day). She said this because we will probably have to move back to the city soon. My parents can't afford to live in the country. My mom said that for now I can hang on to the chickens I have, but I can't get any more. There is also a high possibility that some time in the next year or two I will have to give up almost all of my chickens. This really sucks...

Same here. You know how Faverolles are supposed to be awesome, clam, and sweet? My Fav was a big jerk who was unfriendly, noisy, and would pluck feathers out of the other chickens. I sent her to live at a farm though.

Just helped my dad fit the windows into the frames! We just moved to this house and the windows STINK. They let in a tonof bugs. So that's why I often sleep with my Doberman Lexi and my mom sleeps with BoBo on the couch in the living room. BoBo eats bugs lol.

A lot of people tell me that RIR roosters are one of the meanest breeds of roosters there are, but both of my roosters are RIR's and they have never shown any sign of aggression in their lives. I guess some people just decide those things based on their experience with those certain breeds. I also was told by many people not to get white leghorns because they are really flighty and hate people. But I got two of them and they are the exact opposite of what people told me they would be like.

And thanks I probably won't have to re-home any of my current chickens, but I'm just really sad that I won't be able to get any more. I guess I'll just have to see what happens in the next year. Right now the chances of having to give up my chickens are pretty slim, but that could change. It's kind of hard to tell at the moment.

So, how is everyone doing today?
