That's good. I have a hen who has been broody for 4-5 weeks now. Maybe more. I can't have any more chickens for a while, so she can't have any eggs this time. She's pretty mad at me.

I have 9 adult hens. The chickies are doing pretty good! Except we had to separate Mabel away from the rest because she wouldn't stop pecking them in the eye.....

Try hanging some dried cranberries for them to peck at. We had some picking problems with our chicks and that worked for us. Red treats (in small amounts) always help with picking. How is Gina doing? Did she finally stop hollering at you?
