Duck Abcess

Suggestion... Catch her and clean it really well, pluck all feathers off of the lump and inspect skin for possible puncture. If you find a scab, pick it off to see what's under it, then post more pictures.

Another thing to check is does it feel attached to anything?

It's easy for other to tell you what to do but would they do that to their own Duck?...Seriously it needs a Vet because infection can kill your Duck..

Is that her ear hole directly above the lump? *Could be* an ear infection... or if that's a scab, then source of bacterial infection...

Vet would definitely be best, but we know it's not always possible...

And neither @Miss Lydia , @casportpony nor I would ever suggest something we wouldn't do ourselves for our own ducks...
