Duck acting weird

My Runners were around 4.5 months when they started laying.

I can't remember exactly what age our runners started laying but the youngest age I saw online was 17 weeks. Still not totally sure thats why she is doing that and curious to see if anyone else has ideas.
Just to be prepared do you have nest boxes and oyster shell available? We just use tupperware storage containers filled with straw for nest boxes, most of the time our ducks use them but sometimes they just leave eggs wherever they feel like it
Our chocolate runner lays pretty blue eggs.

No nesting boxes for the duck but we will soon. We've just been so busy with fixing their yard that we haven't gotten to fixing their broken shelter. She currently lives with the chickens until her mate is finished healing indoors.

I so know the feeling. We've had a sick duck here the past few weeks and a few repairs to make on their coop as well...only so many hours in a day
