Gasp!!! You need to see Mare's "Lidus"and "Butter" (that sounded weird reading it back to myself but seriously, it's one of my favorite calls and that is one adorable chubby love!) @Overo Mare and/or find Nat's YouTube video of her Calls quacking competition @WVduckchick and @shawluvsbirds duckling thread, @Conan pictures (especially of the pic showing how obvious it is that she is NOT a fan of Snowy calls) @FunnyfarmMidwest thread of ducklings, @BirdsBeesTrees duckling pics and album. I could go on and on. I love Calls so much! I have 6 and I'm learning that it's almost sinful to eat Call Duck eggs 😂 so I can't wait until they start multiplying

I feel like I'm missing someone that I've become acquainted with and enjoyed our love of Calls 💜

Edited to add: I hope it's obvious that I'm just showing some love to some of my faves and not being all ultra dramatic 😂💜
Soon as the ND bunnies make babies I'll put that money toward calls. I like to have one animal pay for the next, my goat milking payed for the Saxony ducklings.

I'm grateful that I'm not the only slave for ducks
I have a couple ducks inside at night healing. One loves hunting bugs; so when we found a bug in the house, we figured it would thrilled to eat it. We threw the bug in the bath with them and they just stared at it like what am I suppose to do with that. You trying doing something nice and there is no appreciation 🙄.

If You have the heart to you CAN eat them.
I mean, they are bigger than quail and people eat those.
The eggs are fine to eat too. Just small like a bantam chicken egg.
But then what will all of those girls sit on? And how does the Call Duck math work if multiplication isn't involved? Calls are the potato chip saying, right? I thought getting ALL the chickens was bad. That's like child's play once Call Ducks come into the equation. They're like "Oprah Ducks"......... Everyone needs Call Ducks (well, all of those that actually take care of them)

Side:I'm kidding, kinda

That was my Calls whenever I dug up their very first earthworm 😂 My bigs go bonkers over anything like that. Still only two of my 6 Calls get all excited about earthworms. The others get excited after they see a flockmates excitement but by that point, those worms are on their way to being duck poop!

I'm sorry everyone. I haven't been getting notifications, so please accept my apologies while I get caught up. I know I'm blowing up everyone's notifications. That's what I get for not checking notifications more carefully. I've needed this fun this week, so I'm enjoying every second of this duck love 💕

Edited to add: I said that's what I get, but y'all are the ones having to suffer from the overload of a slacker catching up 😳

:frow How ya been Shaw? The calls are doing great. Puff figured out how to...... be a man. 😂
I'ma doin fine and dandy, thanks fer askin. 😊
I'm grateful that I'm not the only slave for ducks 😂 I was typing out a reply to Mare's video about gathering up dandelions for the ducks when I thought, "Gah, I am a slave for these ducks (of course I worded it as I am the ducks b**ch)" 🤣 Hunting down their favorite weeds, digging up earthworms and fishing for minnows. That's only the few things that actually take a little more effort 🙂 I found my people 🤣
I was out foraging greens for the demanding little call devils today too. They all lined up along the side of the pen screaming at me to hurry it up. 🤪
