Thanks for the great advice! I knew you’d be an expert on the subject! Luckily she just showed up! I followed her and found a giant nest in the bush under my window! I don’t know why I didn’t find her earlier. She is a sneaky little thing! :ya:love View attachment 2845339
Hope your broody has a good hatch, I’m looking forward to pictures!
Unfortunately everyone has to stay in because there’s 2 juvenile eagles stalking them!
Here’s the bunch! Any advice on blocking off her nest? Should I try to rig something up around her? I put a camera out there that will alert me of noise. :)View attachment 2845119
Ohmagawsh! What a cute little sneak😆

I have 8. 3 Pekins for sure and the rest are unknown breeds. I want sooooo many more but our pond won’t allow for it. Plus my parents don’t want to hear them lol. We have a loud mouth already. I love anything and everything duck!!

That cute little girl looks soo mad at you! 😆 How dare you find her nest

I've only ever heard of someone being mad at their ducks once, a lady who was bit by her Muscovy drake before coffee😂
I was mad at my black runner. She injured her leg and we brought her inside. We had to tube feed her because she stopped eating. She would hiss and bite hard. Walking up early in the morning to tube feed before heading to work and getting bite was not my idea of a fun time. She is still healing right now, but is no longer biting or hissing. But now makes her happy noises. Despite how pissed and annoyed me and my husband were, we are going to miss having her indoors. It is amazing how a happy duck can just melt your heart.
