I’m pretty sure they came from Metzer in California. As for the employees knowing what breeds they had, they all just said that they didn’t know for sure, they were just all together in one stock tank. I believe they had some Runners, Perkins, Khakis and the Mallard/Rouens.

Poor dear feed store workers. You would think they’d be more knowledgeable, but they never are…

Ok, they have to remove the rear toe on the right foot of domestic mallards or band them or pinion a wing. Do they have all their toes?

I checked and they have all their toes and I don’t see the other things either.

If I were good enough sexing ducks I could know their gender now, but sadly I think I would end up saying all my ducks are females.

I do hope that they are Rouens though. Although if they are Mallards they will be a nice addition too.
