@KaleIAm Aww, that is so hearbreaking. I'm so sorry to hear it. I know what it's like. I'm still not over my dog Lucy's death 5 years ago. It's heartbreaking when the ones we love are suffering. From my one meeting with Rye I remember how unbelievably well behaved, sweet, and friendly he was. He must hold a huge place in your heart. I will keep him in my prayers and that the chemo gives you an extra year together. Don't think about this now, because I'm sure you have a lot more time with him, but I did contact two local vets today who make house calls. I think if Puddles continues to go downhill I am going to go that route. It's not cheap, but worth it to have our beloved pets as comfortable as possible.
