Doubt they care lol, they are still kind of stand offish, but Tuva is a funny girl and makes me laugh. That duck will quack quack quack out of the blue, any ol’ time and it sounds like she’s laughing and it cracks me up. The names are either Swedish or popular there now. My drake is half Swedish Blue and half Black Runner so we picked a theme and went with it.

Gee thanks!I feel the need to share my ear worm. My husband recently sang the baby shark tune, but instead he sang Baby duck, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo. Everytime I see the ducks, this song pops in my head now

I had a chicken that was gathering everyone's eggs that she could. We didn't realize she was sitting on real eggs until she had been on them a week. By then she had a mix of duck and chicken eggs. So took the duck eggs left her with the chicken eggs and then she up and abandoned the next 4 or 5 days later. But out of the duck eggs that she had started I got one duckling to hatch. All the chicken ones had perished by the time I realized she was off the nest too long.This happens when you don’t pay attention to hens in nest boxes.
Did you see the 3 little Phoenix chicks? Egg production is way down overall, so I haven’t been very diligent at collecting eggs. Many times I’m not sure if a hen in the box is just laying or if she is sitting, so I move on. I collected the eggs from the momma Phoenix hen and candled them and apparently it had been a couple weeks since I collected! Lol 4 were close to hatching, so I gave them back to her, 3 of the 4 hatched.
