Yep I'd say so
If they aren't hissing and biting like a snake they get almost catatonic like on the nest.
But when she comes off of there to eat and drink that's probably when she'll ruffle her feathers and act like a psycho

I just remove eggs daily if I don't want them to brood. I've not had one that refused to get off the nest to eat and drink and stuff so I've seen no need to "break" the broodiness.

My ducks don't continue to sit on an empty nest like my Silkies and Cochin hens. Then again, I don't have that much experience with broody ducks (only two times so far).

Thank you for the information @Quatie I increased Honey Boo Boo's Calcium Citrate tablets to one tablet in the morning and one at night.
