Everyone is safe this AM, including Daphne. I couldn’t find her egg, but she was bright and happy before I left for work. Matilda was missing, but was found UNDER a broken apart bale of hay sitting on a secret nest.:confused:

Ordered more Calsorb. Hoping bear will move on as he usually does. Headed to work. Looking forward to having time to focus on current duck issues this weekend.
 
So, today I found the duck's secret nest...
Didn't realize til after I had grabbed all the eggs that their new nest is lined with and hidden under poison ivy 😩

They are so smart, unlike most of my animals. I love how they know when they've done something naughty, it makes finding them out and scolding them so much fun😂

I need to record me busting my ducks when they wander too far around the house. They KNOW they're not supposed to. As soon as I holler at them and they see me, they take off as fast as their little 1/2 inch legs can take them. Back to where they're supposed to be.
