Duck almost drown

Solanine is what is found in green potato skins and could be the source of your problems:

She had red potato skins once it's not something I give everyday and they eat greens and their duck feed daily. They all have been in water everyday. When I first got them from a week old they were in water they could stand in. These ducks have been in the pond for 2 months now everyday. Shes never had a problem with not producing oils this incident first happened yesterday it's like she had a seizure even her eye lid closes in the one eye she wont eat out of my hand anymore or eat at all but she will drink.

oh i misunderstood. Is it a natural pond? Maybe something bit her? Snapping turtle, etc?
or maybe she is starting a molt and that's why she got too soaked.

very pretty ducks. I Hope she gets better quick.

It is a natural pond with a stream not a big deep pond and there are no turtles but frogs there are. I looked all over her and nothing seems like she was bitten. This is her. I'm not liking her just standing and her eye does this

She's very pretty! This is beyond my guesses now. I would flush the eye with some saline wash. But wait and see what others here have to suggest first. Is a vet out of the question?
Maybe she scratched it, or dove into something under water without seeing it. So many possibilities. Keep us posted please.

I really can't add more other than good your keeping her inside for now to keep an eye on her. Making sure she gets good nourishment is important too. Sometimes if we make their feed soupy they will drink it if they won't eat. I'd also add some poultry vitamins to her water Poultry Nutri drench can be given right inside the bill full strength. Directions on the bottle.

Rise the eye with a saline wash like WV mentioned 1/8teas of salt mixed into 1 cup of warm water you can just pour this over the eye. If it doesn't clear up in a few days then I'd get either Terramycin eye ointment or Veterycin eye gel.

Always good idea to see a vet if at all possible.

And what about her feathers staying wet?
