I have two khaki campbell’s and two of the big white ducks, and one of the white ones picked up a stick as round as a quarter and attempted eating it, spit it back out, then picked it back up and swallowed it! why could that be? i haven’t seen anything on ducks eating sticks, and she seemed rather uncomfortable doing it, so i’m curious if she will be ok, and why she might’ve done it

What was the length of the stick?

I agree, grit would be helpful, although only in the case that the stick reaches the gizzard. Grit in the crop will not aid in the breakdown of the stick. Pay close attention to the duck, make sure she's eating, drinking, producing normal feces, etc. If she starts acting Ill, a vet would be your best bet.

the stick was about an inch long, I have no idea why she might’ve done it too, they have cracked corn, bugs, chicken feed, and oyster shells to eat, i don’t think she should be hungry enough to eat a stick 😂 maybe she’s just that dumb, both my white ones eat a lot
