Hello & thank you in advance for any suggestions!! Yesterday I walked up to our pond to find a bobcat swimming with one of my Pekins in its mouth! I was able to scream and chase enough for the cat to drop the duck. Duck swam off but seemed ok. A bit later it looked a little slower than the others but was still eating, etc. This morning it was upside down, on its back, in the pond. I assumed it had died and chided myself for not trying to bring it inside yesterday. Then it lifted its head and started kicking!!!! Duck is now in dog crate in my garage. No visible injuries, but holding neck oddly-it was attacked by the neck. Can’t stand correctly, keeps pushing with feet so it flips over on back. Shudders occasionally, in pain? Or muscle tremors? Tries to lift wings, but can’t. Is at least eating!! Suggestions?!?!

A Bob cat was In your pond and had one of your Pekins in its mouth and you left your ducks there? Over night? Did you look all under feathers for bite marks? Swelling anywhere?
